This policy explains what personal data UnboxEd ("we") collects through unboxlearning.in and our learning platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Contact details you send us, such as your name, email, organisation and message.
- Material you upload to create courses, such as documents, links, audio and video.
- Learning activity, such as answers, progress, XP and the questions asked to the tutor, so we can show progress and schedule reviews.
- Basic technical data, such as browser type and pages visited, to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to you and provide the service you asked for.
- To turn your material into courses and to run those courses for your learners.
- To improve the quality and reliability of the service.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your material or your learners' data to train AI models.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run the platform, including cloud hosting and AI model providers that generate course content and tutor replies. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide the service. Some providers may process data outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep your material, courses and learning data while your account is active, and delete them on request or within 90 days of the account closing, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to preeti.agrawal@lightbulblabs.tech and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
When a school or parent shares a course with a child, we process the child's learning data only to provide that course, on the instructions of the school or parent, and we don't use it for advertising or tracking.
